I don't open valuable old stuff, but I did enjoy opening Perfect Dark for N64 recently. It's the only N64 game in my collection I bought new.

I remember it used to be you could get a signifigant portion of the Dreamcast's best games new for $25 or less. I wish I had taken more advantage of that. I only got THPS 1 and 2 sealed.

Smile: Saw DJ assault last night. The local promoters guest-listed me since it was a 70 mile drive, and I got him to sign one of my records.

double smile: Going on a first date with a pretty cute girl today, and she has similar taste to mine in electronic music and hip-hop. Should be a good day.

Smile: My sister in law's surgery went very well on Friday. She's already walking around and healing like effing wolverine, over here.

Frown: I dont think I can go visit her anymore because of my leg.

Smile: 13" of additional snow for the kids to play around in. I love big snowfalls when after the deep freeze is over and you can actually get out and really enjoy it. We had about 10" on the ground already, so there is some real tunnel possibilities.

Smile (me) / Squirm (my wife): We had a mardi gras party at church today, with tons of green/yellow/purple balloons. My boys each grabbed a handful of balloons and started hitting each other, while making the following sounds / moans / grunts: "Unnh, balls" "ooh ooh balls" "eeunh balls" "un un ooh balls"

 Yesterday I went out for carnival and while dancing I busted my ankle. It hurt a lot at the time, but I got some ice from a dude who was selling beer in the street, put on my feet where it hurt and it stopped. I figured everything would be OK.

Then I partied all night, came back home at 5 AM and, dropping from the bus, I could already feel something was wrong with my left foot. I limped my way home and when I got here, I could barely step on it. I went to sleep and when I woke up, it was horribly swollen.

I called a cab, hopped my way through my building's hall and got to the hospital, where I had a shot and got my foot immobilized.

So, carnival is pretty much over, two days in. Or it'll at least be a lot less fun.

Well, there's always next year, right?

Smile: I'm going to see the stage version of Billy Elliot on Tuesday.

Frown: I had to use an infinite health cheat to get past the first mission on GTA San Andreas (the one where you're riding a bike and trying to keep up with the group while being shot at). That really pisses me off. I expect games like that to be difficult once you get into 'em a ways, but to be THAT difficult right at the start, that's just unfair, man. Vice City didn't give me that much trouble.

Smile: I am not a morning person. I usually am jyst quiet and irritable for an hour when I get up. This morning my wife said to me "You're like Sonic... You're cute but you've got a bad attitude."

I don't like soda very much, but if you ever get to a Natural Grocers, there's a brand of rootbeer (expensive, only comes in a 4 pack of bottles) that is just absolutely amazing. I can't remember the name of the brand though.

Smile: My history teacher got his shit together and graded 4 weeks of stuff. Now I know my grade (A)!

Frown: It's relatively nice out, but, it's also very cold. I hate cold.

 That's awesome.

Gotta disagree with your wife though. I don't really think you're all that cute.

I dunno, maybe you're just not my type.
