Kai has more memorable quotes than Winston Churchill or FDR combined. This guy needs his own talk show

Watch this to get the reference.

I found a guy selling the episodes not on the DVDs, DVD or Bluray, but to get all of them would be like $500.

MST3K is a great show, but the prices are outrageous. They are in dire need of a complete-series Blu-Ray set.

I suspect that intellectual property issues will prevent them from ever releasing a complete set in our lifetimes. That said...they watched a lot of public domain movies, and I think it would be easier - at least from an intellectual property perspective - to put together an "anthology" or some other sort of massive collection compiling those episodes.
EDIT: I BLAME MY PARENTS is a great episode based on a public domain film. THE GIANT GILA MONSTER is another. I am not an expert in intellectual property law, but I do not see what prevents them from compiling those episodes.

I found out among all the Canadian references on TFS, there was even a Red Green show riff. Those guys didn't miss anything with that ep.indecks wrote:prfsnl_gmr wrote:^ That is awesome. If I could, I would change my user name to " Zap Rowsdower".
Give us the mahp, Zahp.
WHAT THE HEYELL!!
That's one of my favorite MSTs.
As far as a commercially available complete set goes, it all comes down to re-obtaining the movie rights again. There are somewhere close to 30 "sets" of 3-4 eps on DVDs, and also single movie releases on VHS and DVD. They are crazy expensive on eBay, however. The newer ones are available through Shout Factory, who still continue to crank them out. Any other episodes can be watched through a fantastic streaming online episode directory here, and this site has fan media-created season sets and single episodes for sale. With the exception of the commercial sets of course, video quality is more than likely as good as the original media whether you buy or watch them, but you can get almost all of them that are out there through all these methods.
Nice to know I am in good company here amongst fans.

Ticked: Saw the effects of the USPS rate hikes today.
Some highlights:
*8-20% increase on "Standard Post", which replaces "Parcel Post"
*stamp up 1 cent to $0.46
*8-20% increase on Priority (like standard post, the greater the weight, the higher the % increase, 8% is the minimum)
*Priority envelopes / med. boxes / lg boxes all up 8%
*Media Mail up 2.5%
*First class remained the same
International:
*First class all international up 80-90% across the board
*Tracking is now available on 1st Class International (this is the only good thing I see)
*Priority boxes and envelopes up 30-60% across the board
A Flat Envelope we used to be able to ship to CAN for $12.95 is now $19.95
A Flat Envelope we used to be able to ship to EUR for $16.94 is now $23.95
These changes all but make international transactions on our forums all but impossible.
These changes also ensure that the media mail rate will be abused even more, which in turn, will cause rates to go up in the future, as each media mail package is a net loss to deliver. Please fully privatize the USPS.

My PGM Boxes arrived today - I got in on the start-up of these, so as far as I know, these are the first boxes in the US (the maker of these, "Loris Biaggi" on neo / shmups forums, is from Italy)
