I still want to win the lottery  and buy every VGA game on ebay and open them all...

But winning the lottery is key here.

It hurts to scroll down this:

It's all about money and/or stroking your own ego because you have an 89 rated copy of Bayou Billy, whatever that even means.
Not necessarily. I'm sure some people only do it to make profit by grading then selling...but the people BUYING them take some enjoyment that has little or nothing to do with money or ego.

Sadly, people fake things, so having an authority (whether you agree with how they became an authority, or agree they are an authority, is irrelevant as a large enough section of the marketplace does agree) grade and authenticate your item has some value to the collector of that item.

There are very few items I would ever personally want graded - but something like Deathsmiles 360 LE Big Box, original, sealed, encased in airtight acrylic, in an attractive fashion, is something i'd like to display as it is simply a piece of gaming memorabilia I really enjoy.

I imagine most people who BUY these have a similar sentiment toward the items they are buying.

There are only a handful of GBA games on the Wii U VC, the RPG's (mostly strategy) include Fire Emblem, Mega Man Battle Network, Advance Wars and Golden Sun (being the only I would really consider an RPG).

Play Advance Wars and Golden Sun. They are both very good.

Yup, Golden Sun is great. Of course, to finish it off, you'll want to get Lost Age when it comes out here. I think it's already out in Europe and Japan, so it's gotta be coming.

I wonder if you will be able to do the save transfer between Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age on the WiiU without resorting to a 260+ character password. If so, that would be a pretty cool special feature.

I'm curious how much of your wallet was sacrificed for it, if you care to share.

*edit*

Wowsers on this auction pile.

Traded a PCB worth about $300, which I think was about fair market.

That auction lot seems high a tad high - but I suppose getting that many HTF's all minty is worth the premium. That, and I have no idea on how rare or coveted the converters are, or the HORI MD pads - maybe they added a couple hundred to the price.
