The characters in Elfen Lied were idiots who made some terrible (and nonsensical) choices, but the overall story was good enough to keep me interested.

Then again, two of my favorite anime series are Chobits and Love Hina - so take everything I say with a huge grain of salt.

Man, I haven't watched or bought any anime in like... 6 months? I think the last thing I watched was Scrapped Princess.

Is anyone here watching Psycho-Pass? Kind of sounds and looks like it might be legit mature action sci-fi. I hope so. Always begging for new sci-fi.

I like to watch a series over a weekend and then concentrate on school work for a week. Other than Btooom!, I'm going to wait for each of the new series to finish before I watch.

But this is a good season, isn't it? The new shows have so much promise.

Almost through Sword Art Online. For fans of MMOs or gaming in general, I recommend it.

At a certain point it took a nosedive of Death Note proportions. There was an episode that would have made a perfect ending, but they threw on a frankensteinian appendage to the plot. I went from watching 2 or 3 episodes a day to 1 every 2 or 3 days.That said, I'd still recommend it for the meat of the story.

I really liked Scrapped Princess. I'm sure i've mentioned it before, but I swear one of the characters looks exactly like Shion from Xenosaga, and wouldn't you know she happens to have the same english VA as well.

I even emailed the VA once asking what was up with it, and she had absolutely no idea.

Always heard good things about Scrapped Princess myself, I'll have to see it someday.

I just finished up a Bebop rewatch. I still like Trigun a little more, but it was a fun trip down memory lane rewatching both after all this time. I checked them out in Japanese too finally and that was great as well.
