I got that TV at Wal-Mart on Black Friday many years ago. I was a Wal-Mart employee at the time so I also got that discount too. I paid like $10. It's held up pretty well, it was my dorm room television.

Just did some research (oh shit I sound like the Irate Gamer here) and discovered that Durabrand products are sold ONLY at Wal-Mart.

You didn't know that? It's a Walmart store brand, just like Route 66 is a K-Mart brand.

Nope, I didn't know! I worked at two Wal-Marts (and somehow made it out alive), I was a cashier at the front of the store, so no electronics passed through my register. And I never dealt with any merchandise stocking. I tried to avoid actually shopping there on days off, went to the much classier Target instead.

That was my TV for many years. I too played mainly PC games when I had it. It totally sucks for HD systems.

When I first got my PS3 I had a similar TV and was so disappointed when I went to play MGS4 and couldn't read any of the damn text.
