So Luke, as our official movie seer, can you tell us if Argo will be worth seeing?

Can't say without seeing. Every time I hear the title I think about SOTC, and when it does register my next thought is "Ben Affleck has a brain child of a movie?".

It's difficult for me to speak negatively of Affleck and his performances, he does it enough himself. Kevin Smith has repeatedly said Ben is one of the most talented actors in Hollywood and that he would cast Ben for "any role", and I don't want to say anything negative about KS as he's made careers for a few friends. Not that Kevin Smith will read this posy, not Ben Affleck, but I feel uncomfortable saying anything negative about them.

You pose a difficult question to answer, but I am expecting a movie that will feature great acting, a solid story, but at times may be boring and over thought; CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER comes to mind as far as my expectations.

Probably could have screened it a month or two ago, but I'm not huge on political thrillers that are "based on actual events".

So you're more a fan of Oliver Stone's political thrillers.

Hellboy [Directors Cut]

Those couple of minutes makes it better than the original cut.

Running Scared

People really seem to hate this movie but I love it.

TROUBLE WITH THE CURVE

"As a comedian, you have to start strong and end strong. You can't be like pancakes, cause after a while you get fucking sick of 'em" - Mitch Hedberg

While TROUBLE WITH THE CURVE didn't leave me sick, it did make me wish it would have ended stronger. More on that later.

As usual Eastwood brings his A game, and his performance might make you misty eyed at times. The other characters are basically just there. There not written well, and Amy Adams is basically Amy Adams, which was actually an improvement for the character. Timberlake walks around and speaks, that's it. They gave him nothing to do.

Starts of strong, meanders a bit, and then ends with a thud. Had in not been for Eastwood, this movie could have been a real stinker, but he makes TROUBLE a slightly better than average movie.

Spoilers:
I laughed my ass off at the end. Amy Adams sings a song, that is followed by the exact same song but from the soundtrack. How that got through editing makes my brain spin.
