Question: why doesn't anybody count Paper Mario when talking about N64 RPGs?
Good question and your right and maybe what I do is the answer.
When I sort my N64 titles, Paper Mario is classified as "Mario Games" and goes w/Mario Party / Tennis / Golf, etc. It doesn't go w/the (4) RPG's.

Still waiting for it. But it's coming...
jealous. I just didn't have the loot when they were up for pre-order.
When I got asked if I wanted in on these I didn't realize how sought / rare it was. I have (2) coming if anyone is interested in the other.

Dracula X (PC Engine)
Resident Evil 2 (N64 and Dreamcast) are these rare?
Ogre Battle 64
Castlevania Legends (Gameboy)
Mega Man X3 (SNES) again is that rare?
RE 2 - not rare, less copies than NFL2K1, but not rare on either console.
Mega Man X3 - not super rare in copies made available, but highly collectible and the lowest print run of all the MM SNES games, and with such a loyal fan base, that cart will continue to climb past the $100 its currently at, imo.
Ogre Battle 64 isn't as rare as some think, but due to it being the only playable RPG on an entire console (Quest / Aidyn are...not good) it will remain highly collectible as well. Harvest Moon, if you consider that in the same style vein, would fall in the same parameters, of not necessarily rare, but high value and collectible long-term.
I am just now digging out my old collection. I need to organize them somehow and create a list of these. I just remembered those as being hard to find prior to really using eBay.
Rarity of the Phantasy Star games on Genesis?
Dungeon and Dragons Collection (Saturn) I have A few of those capcom 4 meg carts from that and vampire savior.
Popful Mail with strategy guide
I think I have all those Working Designs/Sega CD rpg guides also.
Shining Force CD

On the Phantasy Star stuff, someone else will know better than I.
Popful Mail for US SCD? Then yes, relatively low print run and also increasing in value, about $100-110 last I looked. If the MDCD-(JP) or the SFC (JP) then no, pretty common.
D&D Saturn - again, not rare by numbers, but (2) great games and not hindered by the JP region, make it collectible and playable in all regions, which keeps it's value high like most great / playable JP exclusives, also in the $100 range.
No idea how rare the RPG Guides are for the WD games, but my guess is collectors would be interested if in good shape.

Thank you for your input and help.
Oddly enough, I found the company that printed the guides and ordered them direct. They are still sitting in the box they came to me in.

mjmjr25 wrote:^RE2, many amazon sellers (and other online used game retailers) re-wrap their games prior to sending out - often to look near factory. Most likely it is that, but who knows, you can always post pics and have some "experts" look at the seams and folds.
I wish. I left that one unattended for about fifteen minutes, then my kid brother (who has some kind of obsession with reading all of my game manuals) opens the case and steals the manual. I found him a few minutes later, flicking through it on the couch, the case laying open on a table nearby. I think I died a little inside that day. Fortunately, the disc looks like my REZero disc 2, which I compare all my gc game conditions to since I've yet to actually play it, even though I opened it about six years ago. The RE2 disc looked even better, somehow. No scratches of any kind on the disc, the boxart/case immaculate the manual was unwrinkled (except for a single dogear from my brother).
Moral: if you're going to keep something sealed, keep it away from people who might open it.

I think Hybrid Heaven should be included as well. And for the record, I liked Quest 64 when it was new and still do!

For a game I was so excited to buy, I found Quest 64 to be such a disappointing game.

Every game I put in that site comes up as " not found " , do they only value million sellers ?
