Well, it definitely isn't hard to find. Every store around me has half a dozen of each model. Stacks of deluxe systems on the floor. My local Kijiji has people selling sealed deluxe models for below retail.

Really, the only store near me that has any at all is the Walmart we went to last night who had one deluxe left in stock. Now granted I do live in a small town, so that is more expected - the Gamestop has been sold out since launch.

Even my local grocery store had more than the glass case in the electronics section could hold. Future Shop, Best Buy, Walmart, EB… they seem to have constant stock. From what I saw, it was out of stock for about two days after release. Either they got more shipments in, or a lot of people backed out of their pre-orders.

This Sonic game is so addictive. Single player and multiplayer are both awesome. Up to 5 people locally is really great for gatherings. I like this one so much better than the first.

I think Nintendo actually tried to meet demand and had a larger supply to start. Had the same experience around me - all the stores were out after launch but by mid-week another shipment had came in. I walked into Target the day before Thanksgiving and grabbed one (I haven't seen Deluxes there since though). GameStop seems to have asked for a ton - the ones I've been too have signs saying they are in stock and readily available.

I've only seen the white Wii U's available around me. The deluxe models are still selling out consistently, though they aren't impossible to find (I got the last one at the store I went to). I live in a densely populated area too.

Finally picked up a black silicone skin cover from gamestop, it is very nice. It fits the controller perfectly, super snug and feels good in your hand. Highly recommended. I also picked up the Nyko Charge Link USB charger:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Nyko+-+Char ... Id=6914733

It surprisingly seems to work fine, I am using it on my charging cradle so I can use the other cable for when I need to charge and play. I say surprisingly because considering the oem power is a hige brick, and people on here said that it doesnt look like USB could provide enough power I was skeptical. Be warned though, the box information is VERY misleading. It states on the box that it will charge the gamepad, 3ds, and dsi. Well we all should know that the connectors are different on all 3 of those devices. If you pick one up, look at the plug, there are 2 versions! one with the Wii U plug, and one with a 3ds plug. They are labeled the same, and are on the same peg hook.

^ I picked up the black silicon sleeve myself. If feels better imo. I guess it is mostly that the oils do not build up on it the way they do on smooth plastic electronics. Maybe I just have oily hands. I prefer the matte look as well.
