Indigo Prophecy is balls-out insane.

I had the same reaction playing and beating Blood Stone earlier this year. And the answer is simple: Bizarre Creations. Makers of the absolutely fantastic Project Gotham Racing series. Unfortunately Blood Stone was their last game. :(

I'm intrigued in 007 Legends, but hadn't considered Goldeneye Reloaded ... until now.

I got the almost-best ending: Ethan rescued Shaun and gets together with Madison, but I lost Norman in the junkyard scene. I really didn't expect Shelby to be the killer; in fact, until he was revealed to be so I was convinced Ethan was. I also didn't expect to rescue Shaun, since I didn't kill the drug dealer and took the "poison."
The fact that I was kept off-guard right until the very end just goes to show how well-made this game is. Unfortunately, the way the story played out for me is now the way that feels real, so even though there's outcomes I haven't seen they would feel fake if I went back and did things differently.

I hear Heavy Rain was made by the same guy who did Indigo Prophesy. I should check that one out.
yes! Heavy Rain rules. Quantic Dreams did indeed make Indigo Prophecy as well as Omikron The Nomad Soul. :)

You make a good point about how the first time you play it becomes THEE story. I hadn't thought about it before, but I agree. It's such an engaging story that you become attached to it the way you experienced it.

IMO Omikron tops Indigo Prophecy, but all Quantic Dreams games are Day 1 purchase for me now.

Costume Quest
I picked this up during a PS+ Halloween sale because I lost interest in my "scary game" of October (Castlevania Lord of Shadows). I was quite impressed with it. It was simple and because of that, along with the charm, it was quite fun. The game was short I started it on Oct. 30 and beat it in 3 2 hour sittings.

Portal
There isn't much I can say that I didn't say when I first beat it last year. The game was great and I beat it much faster (one sitting) than the first time I played/beat it last year. Props to the Dave for motivating me to play this with his "games in education" podcast.

Disney's Aladdin
Back in the mid 90s I picked up this game not because I loved the movie, but because of the gameplay. I remember getting to the last boss and never beating it. My boys have been showing a little bit of interest in video games (mainly Wii Sports) and I popped this game in to show them. I started playing and didn't want to stop, so when they went to bed I popped it back in and played it all the way through. I didn't have much trouble with the boss this time around, but the escape level caused me some trouble causing me to loose more lives on that level than the rest of the game combined.

Klonoa
I have always wanted this game for the PS1, but never got it. When it was on clearance last holiday season at Best Buy I picked up a copy. I played the first dream when I first got it and with my kids showing a interest in the Wii I was reminded that I had that game. The game was quite fun even though I think you have to be tripping to completely understand the story. There is one level where I didn't find all the secret piece and I will be going back to complete this one 100%.

Wario Land Shake It
I picked this game up when it was first released and played through the first two maps getting every treasure. Like Klonoa, I remembered that this was in my backlog and incomplete one day when my boys were playing the Wii. After beating Klonoa, I decided before I beat any new games I needed to finish some that I had already started.
This game was a blast, while the regular levels were somewhat repetitive the boss fights were great. I had to play many of the bosses two or three times to learn the patterns and strategies to take them down. I was not as diligent to collect everything as I was when I played this back in 2009, but I did beat it.

Beeeeeat it... in 3 days i really run through this game, i only found like 3 or 4 of those medallions hidden in the game (and there's 30 of them) also since i pick up the Gold Edition it has a good amount of extra content and i will keep this game for a while.

The game itself is pretty good, if you take it for what it is. The biggest change is the atmosphere this isn't creepy anymore but the amunition is really more scarce than in resi 4 (or maybe sheva wasted all the ammo). The only thing that holds back te game in the replayability department is that the game is way too though on coop and alone with te AI is not so much fun (the AI is decent but it NEEDS tweaking). Also a big NO to me was te enemys with guns and the cover mechanic to fight them. So if you're expecting more Resident evil games like 4 you can still enjoy te Resi franchise but if you're looking for something more survival horror...ish start looking somewhere else.

Now i'm going with Bioshock 2, i wonder if i can reach 30 beated games this year.

57. Skrillex Quest (Flash)
58. Forza Horizon (360)

I didn't like it quite as much as Most Wanted, but it's still a great choice for someone wanting a good racing game this year. Can't go wrong with either one.

Most Wanted was mostly in urban environments and focused more on aggressive racing and crashes. Forza Horizon was a more "mature" racer, I guess you could say. The environment was about 90% natural, with the exception of a small town here or there. Making contact with other racers or barriers isn't punished too harshly, but you do lose your current point combo so it's best to try not to. Plus it uses the realistic Forza engine, so cars handle realistically. That basically means you need to slow down for corners.

If you haven't played it yet, definitely check out Klonoa 2. It's easily one of my favorite PS2 games, and a lot better than the first.

Reloaded>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Legends. Seriously. Legends is a terribad game, don't burn $60 on it. It'll be $10 soon enough if you must have it, just like DNF.
