A fairly new user on the board with high-profile, high-dollar items? What could possibly go wrong? Not a thing, actually. The user was very informative about his products (in this case, a Mega Everdrive and a 32X/Genesis combo setup), including providing pics upon request.
Aside from his communication, the two other things I most appreciated about this transaction were his handling on holding items and his shipping. I showed interest in both items, but mostly the Mega Everdrive. He let me know if I really wanted the system combo setup, he'd let me buy it, but there were other interested parties. Regardless, he was going to give me the first chance to pass before our deal was done. It can be easy to sell to first person with cash- even I've been tempted to do so after some flaky holdouts in the past, but luckily for the both of us, I came through and bought both.
Without question, his shipping was top notch. Flat rate priority with tons of padding, and even included ties for the wires. Definitely a nice touch.
Although he showed some reluctance to sending his items (to no surprise), his faith in sending to me first with all of the above qualities give me a great experience which I won't forget. Feedback well earned.

Re: Transaction Feedback - Totals - Updated 2013-05-17
___ feedback for ruiner. It's really hard for me to determine what to give this user. I had recently purchased a PS2 system with hard drive and other essentials (cables, memory cards w/ McBoot, ethernet modem, controller). He had offered me the bundle for $35 shipped after plenty of communication in trying to work out a deal several months earlier that went nowhere. That should've been my sign.
So after some more back and forth, I agree to pay $35, and pay on a Monday night. He tells me he'll send Tuesday, so I say to give me a tracking number when it's shipped. He tells me on Tuesday the tracking number is in his wife's car, so he'll get it to me later. Good enough. Wednesday passes. Thursday I send a message, which he reads, but does not respond. Friday passes. Saturday, I send a message, which he reads, but does not respond. Sunday, I pm the user and say please provide me the tracking number in 48 hours, or I'll send a dispute. I really didn't feel like he cared, and I didn't feel like he'd sent it. The 48 hours pass, and still no response.
Once the dispute comes, hours later the tracking number appears! He sent the past Friday, not the Tuesday he said he did.
So we go back and forth a bit on Paypal, letting them know what's been going on, and I'm still waiting for the package. The package arrives, and it looks like hell. A beat up, duck taped box shows up in my neighborhood mail box, and when I open it, it one side of the box has some bubble wrap, while the other side is completely exposed! A system with a hard drive and accessories, and half of it is padded only by the crummy Tyson's chicken box! Needless to say, I'm pissed when I open it.
The first thing I notice is a memory card that's suppose to be there is missing. Ok, moving on. I test the system, and it actually works! Who knows for how long, but it works. Except the DVD drive can't read CDs like he said it did.
Despite this all, I want to keep it.
So finally, I tell Paypal these last two issues are what I'm going to dispute for a partial refund. A couple of hours pass, and ruiner accepts. A semi-working soft modded PS2 with hard drive for $25 shipped? Sure. Even through all that.
Please make your own judgments about this user at your risk. I certainly wouldn't do business with them again. But here's one last thing before I sign off:

He's had bad feedback before... I should've known.
