I'm now up to TWO disk games for my PS4 that I'm looking forward to.

Mario is already perfect and never improves.
Are you insane? Mario has the most complex and nuanced character arc of any Nintendo character!

Mario is a lowly plumber who, after having his girlfriend (Pauline) kidnapped by Donkey Kong, finds himself climbing to great heights, both literally and metaphorically, to save her from the mighty ape. Mario's moment of heroism turns to darkness as a lust for vengeance grabs hold of him and he enslaves the great ape, separating the Kong family. It wasn't until Mario recognized the parallels between Donkey Kong Jr.'s struggles and his own prior battle with Donkey Kong, that Mario began to recognize his own callousness and cruelty to these simians. It was too little too late, however, as Pauline left Mario after this incident, presumably because he turned out to be as much of a villain as he had been a hero.

Mario, depressed at the collapse of his relationship, turns to taking mushrooms to escape from reality, and in that psychedelic-infused haze, dreams out power fantasies where he alone saves a woman of royalty, far above his lowly station in life. In actuality, he has been breaking into other people's homes, which is why his imagined princess is always to be found "in another castle."

Fueled by drugs and sexual frustrations, he turns to perversion (as men with thick moustaches so often do) and even briefly experiments with being a furry. Strung out and willing to do anything to survive another day and get his next fix, Mario even betrays one of his closest friends. He knows he was once the hero though, so he is obsessed with reliving his former glory. Much of the rest of the series is up to interpretation regarding what is real and what is imagined in Marios own mind, but his ego reaches such astronomical levels of proportion that it's hard to believe his story is grounded in reality, rather than the imaginings of a man whose self concept is too large for this world.

It's the only reason I really wanted a PS4. Would prefer to play it on Vita (especially since 3P and 4G are there) but oh well.

He had a hard life on the Wrecking Crew after all.

Yeah I loved Golden on the Vita. I'll probably buy this, but I rarely if ever spend the amount of time required for a Persona game playing 1 game on a console. I think Destiny is the only exception of late.

Wrecking Crew is such a great, under-rated NES classic. I love that game.

Man, how can you guys like having your neck like that for hours on end? Even 15 minute games'll give me neck cramps. Thank God for Vita TV.

The great part of having a handheld is you can bring the screen to your face.
