Same issue, also on Firefox

When I am at work it can take 3 or 4 times writing a message in order to actually get it to post without signing me out.

EDIT: Just tested in Chrome and in Edge, same issue.

Well I'm glad to know it's not just on my end.

When I first started having issues I found being logged out after writing a lengthy post to be very obnoxious. I've started writing my posts in notepad and just copy/pasting them over to submit. Saves some headache (especially on long posts).

This certainly isn't an ideal or long-term solution but it's helped me to be able to write up stuff.

I check Keep Me Logged In, but I still have to re-login a few times a day. Also in Firefox. I wonder if the forums are setting a cookie in such a way that Firefox's privacy protections are instinctively nuking them.

I'm using FireFox and I'm staying logged in. I think once or twice I had to re-log in since the server switch. But for the most part, it's working for me.

Same. Firefox, Linux, no problems logging in lately.

So did this cookie/not-staying-logged-in thing mostly start in the last 24/36 hours or so? (for most of you?)

I don't recall the exact timing, but I'm pretty sure it's been happening since the update last month.

I'm able to avoid it by hitting the option to stay logged in when signing in, but if I forget, it will log me out in only maybe a couple minutes of "inactivity." I don't know if that's exactly what others are experiencing, but I thought maybe it's what opa was mentioning.

Also, as an addendum I noticed, the Forgot Password link from the login page is currently broken.

Yeah, that's on the list still -- it's a stubborn thing that seems to stem from the complexity of running the forum in a subfolder undernearth Wordpress while running nginx as the webserver software (vs how Apache ran it before). Still trying to figure it out.

Cookies/log out issue started again for me as a heads up
