I think this is a suitable retort to bringing up cooking shows.

I was into the CW shows at first but they grew increasingly wacky and I just sort of lost interest.
I really liked the first two seasons of Arrow but I felt it all kind of fell apart when they added R'as and supernatural stuff. Flash was fun for the first few seasons as well but the characters started wearing on me. I can take or leave Supergirl and I didn't really like Legends at all. I might go back and catch up on them sometime.

Flash is still in it's first few seasons lol. It's only on it's 3rd. Also this season has been pretty good. I liked how they went a different direction wish Flashpoint. It had bigger repercussions and it shows Barry still seemingly failed. I think this will play in future seasons why he won't just simply time travel to easy fix things. I did like Zoom a bit more tho but mainly has to do with Tony Todd. I also like Legends season 2. I gave up on Arrow and never seen Supergirl minus the Flash crossover and well everything about Supergirl annoys me.

Here we go:
The Ang Lee Hulk movie is the best Hulk movie.
Out of all the re-boot Star Trek flicks, Into Darkness is the overall best one.
Iron Man 2, Thor, Thor: The Dark World, and Age of Ultron are all fine.
Snyder's Watchmen is as good as that movie ever could have been in 2009.
The politics in the Star Wars prequels are the most interesting part of that trilogy.
Alien: Resurrection (except for the final sequence) is a great time.
Constantine (the movie), while not accurate, is really really good.
Del Toro's Hellboy movies are better than the comics.
There's nothing wrong with The Dark Knight Rises ... besides the title.
I find The Legend of Zelda cartoon to be quite charming.
If my optimism has incurred any rage, I have a PM box -- Thank You.

You guys missed out on another great cooking show: Secret Meat Business. It's an Aussie chef, Adrian Richardson, who loves to cook meat, tell stories, and eat stuff that is fresh out of his wood-fire oven.

Reality tv still has a place and purpose, but has been twisted beyond belief. Slice of life shows like deadliest catch leave little room for fake drama and events that are staged are little antics for comedic effect.
Reality game shows like survivor and the like are not a detriment to society. It isn't contributing to the cult of personality like YouTube Instagram and the like are. I don't know, I feel like most people watch the train wreck shows like the Kardashians because they are train wrecks and not because they look up to them. For those that do, it isn't because of the shows but because of the person watching and the environment they live in.

I think the intergalactic politicking is the ONLY good part of the Star Wars prequels.

he did use the thread as intended but I must confess. My head was screaming with horror.
