THanks!

When the rest of the room is posted it will tie in better. I have a Galaga Cocktail arcade I was thinking of converting to a DK cocktail, very cheap to do so, but not really worth the trouble. I still ahve my uncut DK framed card sheet to put on the wall.

The crown molding is SNES gmaes, every NTSC game released, A to Z, it covers almost every inch of the rooms border.

Yes, the cables are run through the floor again, its a must have now that I have done it before.

Yes there is a full wet bar, just not all done with the shelving for the alcohol. :-)

The Donkey Kong theme is really clever. While the molding is cool I'm not sure I'd want to do it in my own place; it seems like it would be hard to get to games (especially getting a specific game). I like the massive horde of Ikea CD/DVD units you have. I've got 7 of those myself for my collection.

Getting the games is a peace of cake. They are in alphabetical order and EASILY reached by anyone over 5'6", so i guess it is not really a short people friendly system.

Heh yeah... it's threads like these that allow me to show my wife that there are people with a worse addiction than me out there. :)

I love the DK theme in the second revision of the games room. Very cool idea, and excellent execution.

Ahh. It might help to have a person in the picture for a sense of scale. And while it is alphabetical that's still a binary search made more inefficient by the fact that it's hard to accurately figure out which cart is the halfway point on each set. I'm not saying it's a bad system; it's just not for me. I personally prefer the look of a bunch of UGCs with covers from The Cover Project, but the N64 is the only one they have a complete set for.

The new room looks very nice!

How big is the room itself? Looks like you'd need a lot of space to pull this off and get the right effect.

Oh crap... I just... I dropped my jaw on the floor... But I can't find it...

Seriously, dude... That's some creativity you've got there... I'm in awe.
