I think it will have the opposite affect. I think people will be listening closely to what they have to say in hopes that they talk more about it... which they won't. It drums up interest in the company again and makes people want to hear about their products, because they finally gave them what they wanted.
Man I just hope this isn't another Versus in the making and comes to current gen. Obviously we'll get XV first, but after that yeah... maybe they've been working on this secretly for a decade now. lol

Halfway there and we're less than 4 hours past the announcement, if that. I wasn't watching the stream, what was the announcement like? I saw that my best friend from high school was trolling me. Saying that FF7 remake and Shenmue III happening, I was like no fucking way. Then I find out it's true. I'll definitely be backing, when I get back to my PC tomorrow. My E3 was made even before Nintendos segment tomorrow.

I don't think Nintendo can top Sony or Bethesda. Earthbound Beginnings will be cool though!

I don't know..I was watching the stream...and they were announcing a kickstarter...and I heard the music....and I blacked out as I screamed into a pillow flailing. I don't know what happened.

That game looks cool, but two things:

1) What do you actually do? I'm not saying you have to fight anything necessarily. The exploration/discovery seemed like it could be cool, but other than walking around and discovering species all I saw was dogfighting in your 'no really it's not an X-Wing'.

2) Absolutely no chance there's no load times in between those sections, at least the way it was presented. I can see you being able to explore a certain section of a planet, then hopping into a certain section of space, but they played it like it was a seamless experience throughout an entire galaxy or something. The game could be great but that looked like classic E3 bait and switch material to me.
