NFL 2015 THREAD
Re: NFL 2015 THREAD
Aren't those amazon firesticks just running xbmc using the same streams/feeds?
Re: NFL 2015 THREAD
No clue. I get Hulu, Netflix, Youtube, and ESPN 3. That's about all I use it for I don't watch much tv.stickem wrote:Aren't those amazon firesticks just running xbmc using the same streams/feeds?
Excuse me. I don't watch much "new" tv. Plus I might watch an hour of tv a day, usually when my wife turns it on before going to bed (which I hate, as I just want to go to sleep). For my sports news I just check online and listen to a podcast or two.
However, on Sunday I will be timing a 1pm game to see how much football takes place, with a stop watch. Why? Some blogger said something close to "Football is a game with an hour on the clock, lasts over three hours on television, and with dead ball clock time removed, you get about fifteen minutes of actual people playing football". He could be right.

I like the comment with Chris elliot "better use my strong hand"

Fuck Gawker, but between them and the New York Daily News (who had the picture), I chose the lesser of two evils.Luke wrote:Fuck deadspin.

As someone who has lost some digits, I find it super tacky to describe his hand as "gross" and "disgusting". It doesn't bother or upset me personally, but it sends a terrible message to kids with upper limb disabilities.SNESdrunk wrote:Fuck Gawker, but between them and the New York Daily News (who had the picture), I chose the lesser of two evils.Luke wrote:Fuck deadspin.
One of the dudes I mentor lost a few fingers on July 4th as well, and he's a grown man, and the article on Deadspin hit him hard and left a bit down in the dumps.
...moving on...
All Day. Is a comeback for Peterson possible? I'd rather not be a naysayer, but I think his career in the NFL is close to kaput.
Re: NFL 2015 THREAD
For most of the game he struggled. His passes were wobbly and his deep balls look like he's having to heave the ball and has no accuracy. His stats were good but if you watched that game, he's dropped off. He could have easily had 3 more picks.Luke wrote:He did pretty well last night.stickem wrote:Peyton fell to me in the 6th rd.
