Game crashed after I killed st1 boss though.
I am glad you are enjoying it my friend! Keep up the good work! We can do it!

Its quite a love/hate thing going on at the moment.

Killed st1 boss again, this time had 800,999 points when he died.

I'm guessing it adds points at the end of the stage like most shmups, but thats just a guess because the game crashed again.

PC Gaming Master Race my fat ass.

Finally sat down to get this thing installed, 2 freaking hours. I mean, it doesn't help that my computer's 8 years old (yeah, really... I looked it up on newegg to see the model number of the motherboard to get the audio drivers... Vista64 drivers since Win7 isn't offically supported) but holy crap it took 2 hours to install a game.

Ugh.

On the bright side? I at least understand what hit me when I die, unlike invisibullets Battle Garegga

Will have a score (again, a bottom of the pile one, but a score) to submit soonish.

first off, Vista is gross and you're just as much of a weirdo for keeping it 8 years as DSH was. Now are you saying it was 2 hrs to INSTALL or 2 hrs to DOWNLOAD? I can't fathom how it would have taken 2 hrs to install. But again, Vista. Gross.

Vista has never sullied my computer's hard drive. I have Win7, but there are no Win7 drivers for my motherboard so I have to fake it with Vista drivers.

And 2 hours total to make it work - download, install, troubleshoot. It was throwing Runtime errors left and right and I had to diagnose and fix it. In the end, it turned out to require me to fix the damn audio drivers -- generic ones wouldn't play nice. Why the game wouldn't just, I dunno, run without audio? That's beyond me. But it wouldn't.

Now I can play :)

Nice game... still trying to get used to the hitbox, but like I said at least I can see the bullets that are killing me unlike the invisibullets last week.

Slowly but surely making my way through. So close to finishing off the level 2 boss, then I ate a stray bullet. Oh well. Hopefully I can post a higher score tonight.

well it's pretty small Chaz so I can't read it all, but appears to be an issue w/ MS Visual C++ Runtime, which should have installed w/ the game. Maybe uninstall and reinstall the game and see if that fixes it?
