For clarification:

The easiest way to set up your matches is for whoever makes the lobby to set the mode as "Marathon." This will automatically make you play a best 3 out of 5 match set, and take care of character locking. If you need a reference, the7k's video of our match shows him setting up the lobby, I believe.
