Ooops you're right. TitS isn't exactly "retro" at all. Great game, but maybe not the best for TR.

It's also the 6th game in a series - I would toss the first Legend of Heroes out there as a recommendation but it's pretty rare (only on Turbo CD in the US).

So out of the nominations already given, also vote for
Metal Gear
Wild Arms
Knights of the Round
D&D Shadows Over Mystara
Wave Race 64

Here's a few i'm throwing out there

Crusader of Centy(NA) Soleil(PAL) Shin Sōseiki Ragnacënty(JPN)
I've never palyed this game but have always wanted to. It's a Link to the Past type game for the Megadrive. I've heard the translation of the PAL version is best one.

Centy is a great game. I tend to think I like it better than the Zelda games. So, seconded.

Isn't it in our best interest to not nominate games that are exclusive to one console and cost a great deal of money?

I think we've got enough nominations, personally. Didn't we bang out last year's list in a week or so?

It probably is. I forgot how expensive the US version is.

Here's one that nice in light of a recent announcement:

Title: Gabriel Knight - Sins of the Fathers
Genre: Point and click adventure
Ports: PC (GOG and Steam) and by mid-2014 IOS and Android

One of the point-and-click adventure greats! Plus, Tim Curry! What's not to like.

Man the list of nominations is a tough choice to sort. Platformers already mentioned could kill most of the year. lol

These are sticking out strong to me:
Lost Vikings
Wild Arms
Puzzle Quest
Rainbow Six
GTA
Space Harrier (You can pretty much play this on any console, I'm doing Working Designs Sega Ages if we pick)
Psychonauts (probably misspelled )
Ghost & Goblins or Ghouls & Ghost

I'd pick all nominations if there were 24 months in a year. :)
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.
