Colorado sounds like a wonderful place. Natural beauty, one of the few blue states in the central US, and legal weed.

From what I've read the pot in NK is really bad. Barely better than feral hemp. Of course they don't have access to the genetics we have, or knowledge about breeding, and it's all outdoor where it's going to get pollinated.

There was a really interesting debate about this on the economist a couple of weeks ago

This is quite interesting

I had never thought about it that way, but it's true.Ask why it was made illegal during the first four decades of the past century and the answer cannot be found in expert medical testimony or in any objective assessment of the costs and benefits of prohibiting marijuana.
In the western and south-western American states which first criminalised marijuana, it was simply a matter of prejudice against Mexican Americans and Mexican migrants, with whom marijuana was popularly associated. Rancid tabloid journalism also played a role, as did reefer madness-like propaganda and legislative testimony. Similar factors played a role in other countries as well, while some governments acceded to foreign requests to criminalise marijuana without even knowing what it was. Criminalising a plant that no one—or almost no one—consumed at the time, and whose future popularity could not be anticipated, was an easy way to please the American and other governments keen to internationalise their own domestic prohibitions.

If I had seen any argument, I would have covered it in my posts. Shame there weren't any.dtrack wrote:Is this means you couldn't find anything than attack on some minor language barrier?

Re: What's Your View On Marijuana?
As I've been reading through this, my thoughts have been consumed with the possibility of on-the-spot blood tests. I don't smoke and don't enjoy drinking, and blood tests are my personal hell. So, if in the hypothetical future of pot legalization I get pulled over for a finger prick or vial fill, not only will I have to sit in my pulled-over car for twenty minutes afterwards to recover from the procedure, I'll be super pissed that such a thing could become a normal occurrence in my everyday existence.
Here's hoping they develop those breathalyzers, ASAP.
