Maybe they could add an update to make it suit the RetroGen so it wouldn't have to use the cable and then use the PBC/Mega Adapter.

The Famicom slot will finally give me an excuse to start buying Famicom games. Maybe I'm getting too excited, but this is the coolest piece of hardware I've seen in a long time.

I wonder if there will be a run on Famicom games if this sells well since most of them are pretty inexpensive and a lot of those games don't require much language knowledge. Some of them a lot cheaper than their US releases like Mega/Rockman 5.

So this is completely region-free?

Not sure why you'd think otherwise. Most hardware clones are. Usually the only one that's occasionally a bitch is the Genesis with most Genesis clones having a region switch. A lot of the real hardware itself was region free to begin with excepting the NES and the post-first-run Genesis.

Considering this is going to be an emulator box there should be no region trouble at all.

Well it's gorgeous compared to the RetroN 3 at least .

If it's like Hyperkin's other releases we should get a few color options.
