After checking out new score thread territory this weekend, I decided to bring up some older scores. I'm very proud of my performance in 1945 II, using a totally different ship to break the 1-4 wall here!
Strikers 1945 II
ExedExes - 563,700 - 1-6 - Mosquito - MAME
Same deal with 1945 III! 1-5 !
Strikers 1945 III
ExedExes - 527,800 - 1-5 - X-36 - MAME
For 1945 Plus, a *modest* increase, dying yet again at the 1-4 boss.

My lowest score was got with the P55.... Its hopeless.... ZERO 52 blows it away!!

Hidden ships count! It's a necessity for 1945 III
I'll live and die by the Ascender -- the Zero is my 2nd choice if only for its amazingly good Super Bomb -- but you can only stock 2 for obvious reasons.

Yeah thats all its got going for it, both the super shot and the bomb are great, it takes everything down so fast with that super shot.

Next time have a few extra shots before you play.
I'm gonna fire up the NEO later tonight. See if I can close the gap a bit.

mate that 7th round is f***en hard near the end!! I cant remember if ive been to 1-8 on 1 credit before, i think the boss of 1-7 is what got me.
I dont go for the gold when it flashes though, i just grab it and run, in later levels there is no time for f***en about

Died at the boss. Pancakes is still my best plane, by far. And getting better at picking up the gold for bonus points. Need to work on spamming my bombs and controlling the rank.

Also, gentle reminder to list which game you're playing as well. It's usually possible to work out which one it is, but best include it to avoid confusion...
