Never found that to be a big issue. But I do very little over world stuff these days. All primals, coil, etc.

FATES seemed very rarely balanced. You either had the horde following them and clearing them in seconds, or needing to be careful with aggro. Not much in between. Maybe they scale better now, I dunno.
Only time I really had issue with them popping near was with HELM stuff, otherwise you can just run a little ways away because actual danger in exploration is too last decade.

I remember in XI the genuine sense of trepidation and actual fear in trying to navigate Valkurm Dunes, Gusgen Mines or Xarcabard when solo/small party at lower levels; Temple of Uggalepih solo at 'original' level cap; the Mhaura/Selbina ship any ol' time. It kills me to think that wouldn't be a part of XIV as well.

Ahh, so there is a topic for this game! I started playing toward the end of May, first MMO I've really sank my teeth into and I've been enjoying it a lot thus far. Already completed the main story and now starting to really get into the post game content. Mostly working on the relic quest right now which is just taking forever to finish.

My in-game name is Brazen Rebel, located on the Ultros server. I'm also with a FC called the Royal Strays, who are a semi-small group of pretty cool people, so if anyone ever wants to chill just send me a buzz!

I signed up on Ultros because I knew some people who already had the game there, haha. They were kind of the final push to me getting the game, actually.

Anyway, enjoying the new patch. Unlocked the Ixal beast tribe quests and did the Shantotto event last night, along with more relic quest shenanigans.

Bumping the topic for a bit, but... 2.4 was released today! Along with the usual additions to the story and dungeons, we also got a new the new Rogue class and Ninja job. A lot of people have been playing as rogue (myself included) and so far I've been really enjoying the class. It's also been hilarious to go to see mass groups of rogues slaughtering enemies in FATEs.

Final Coil of Bahamut is old news by now, but my group completed it world top 10 in the latest raid tier. :) Not as impressive as the top 3-4 groups, of course. Still a lot of fun.

So there was a free login week going on and I didn't know about it until the last day.
I got to play a total of three hours and, dang it, I'm itching to resubscribe. (I'M NOT ADDICTED!) :P

Did anyone do the transfer from PS3 to PS4 yet? I have it on ps3 but I'm not sure I will be buying a Ps4 for one game I already own...

I played, and it was okay, but I was reminded why I didn't remain subscribed in the first place.

It's a PC game for me though. Briefly tried the beta on PS3, but that's been it for console versions.
