Interesting that the average user rating is far higher than the average review rating this game has gotten from professional reviewers (per gamerankings.com). Another good example of the growing divide between critics and real gamers

"real gamers"?

Anyway, that $20 at GS for 360 version looks to be a sale price, not a permanent price-drop. I can't say for sure, but the fact that the old price is still listed makes me think so. So yeah, anyone on the fence could do worse than dropping $20 on this game. I'd say it's *probably* my favorite FF game this generation or last.

I'm pretty sad though because I hastily swapped HDD's in my PS3 and lost a whole bunch of game saves -- this one included.

EDIT: Actually, if someone picks up the 360 version I'd trade them my PS3 version of it. I figure I have to start the game over anyway, so why not test it out on the 360 to see how different it looks since it's so cheap right now anyway?

The $20 deal is good for the PS3 version too.

How long will this last? I'm broke right now, but I can either try to get my mom to give me a loan or sell some stuff. $20 sounds like an amazing deal, especially if the rest of the game is as good as the demo.

You can buy it for that much on the PS3 from Europe (it sells for like 13€ now on online shops. So + shipping = about 20$)

I have a 360, not a PS3 unfortunately. The cheapest eBay has it for is $34, Amazon $31.

Whoa, one of the DLC outfits is N7 armor from Mass Effect 3. SquareEnix tipping the hat to Bioware? I didn't see that coming

Yeah, and it looks fantastic on Sarah. Too bad it costs so much, or I might have considered snagging it.

Why did they have to give Mog a voice? Have we learned nothing from Snarf in the old Thundercats cartoon? Little cute creatures stop being cute when you give them voices
