I decided to scrap the stick and grabbed the Hori Fighting Commander 3 Pro pad, so I'll be ready for next week (got tied up tonight).

I'll probably check out the new Hori UMvC3 pad, but the Real Arcade Pro V3 SA was never happening. Too much on ebay and dont think they'll produce any more.

I don't know - there are a lot of "ok" sticks for ps3, solid, well built - but not epic. I guess i'd rather put out the money once on the VLX and have a superb stick...

lucked out and found it for $30 on clearance at GS. It was up on an overstock shelf and apparently had been forgotten about. Does me no good with fighters though. I need a pad for fighters. But for shmups I find this thing works great for me. I have no desire to spend a lot more money as I have no complaints with this one.
