Not really scary but creepy enough in some parts. Best zombie screams.
Have you never played it? You're in for a treat.
Nope. It was something I missed out on first time round, and never got to it. I finally snagged a copy for a dollar, so figured might as well start now.

The deal of a lifetime.

Be sure to hit up the Episodes afterwards. One is alright but worth playing once, and Two is amazing.

C'mon, guys. It's not even 1am on the west coast, and people are already quitting? I've got a paper to write tonight, so only Galaga a few rounds at a time is getting some love from me.

2:30am here. Think I'm gonna start up Metro 2033 again for a bit. Still gonna focus mostly on Rage and Penumbra for now though.

dodonpachi daifukkatsu 1.5. made it to stage 5 boss with type-c strong style. i'm ALWAYS type-a bomb style so it took a little getting used to the speed of the ship, but a decent run none the less. i guess...

Gonna play some Daimakaimura (Ghouls n Ghosts) on SuperGrafx before bed. Hope I don't get nightmares!

Got a new personal high score on NES Galaga - 189,650 with an 80.8% accuracy. I've gotten much better accuracy before (nearing 90% at times), but not usually this accurate with this high of a score. I'm sure I can keep getting higher if I keep pushing myself tonight, but this paper won't just write itself, will it?

It's funny, but I do my best creative writing really late at night when I'm groggy and tired, and my mind wanders in random strange directions.

I've been known to quickly jump out of bed to jot down a new idea. I came up with a whole chapter of my thesis right before drifting off to sleep.

I mentioned this before in the meditation thread, but I think this is what's actually going on when people meditate. Distractions allow our brains to work in the background, but really relaxing and clearing out our thoughts allow all that background thinking to come to the fore. And there are usually less distractions late at night than there are during the day, so...
At least that's my excuse.
