I hope no one sits out on any of them without at least trying the game (again or for the first time) early on in the month. :?

SRSLY. The only time I sit out a month is if I just don't own any consoles that the game is avaible to be played on. The point of TR is to experience games as a group, and often it has exposed members to games that they wouldn't have played otherwise, but ended up loving.

I'm not interested in emulating Ys, and I don't have a PSP. I do have an Xbox though so if it's on a compliation or something I'll play it. I've played Mario Bros. 2 and it just doesn't do it for me. Beyond that I don't have a Nintendo, or SNES, and I hate emulation.

This year still holds plenty of new games to experience. Golden Axe Warrior, the Crush Series, Do Don Pachi, Gunstar Heroes... they're all new to me. I also haven't played a Panel De Pon game in years. (I played some Tetris Attack as a kid with my friends)

The only two I'm sitting out for sure are Soul Caliber and Bomberman '94. I just don't like Bomberman, and I've never played a fighting game I've enjoyed and see no reason why Soul Caliber would be any different.

I'm purposely playing the games that I think I might "not like", as that seems to be the entire purpose.

If the list was made of games I love or know I'd love, it'd be pointless.

I agree man. Admittedly I was of the "shmups are shallow" camp before we played Galaga. Well, you know what happened there.

Well I have an excuse, at least for Bomberman '94. I have no one to play it with, and Bomberman is a multiplayer experience.

Play Neo Bomberman online instead. :)
