The old Cartoon Cartoons were awesome. I frickin' loved Dexter's Laboratory, Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo, Courage the Cowardly Dog, and Cow and Chicken.
Actually, one episode of Cow and Chicken gave me one of my best laughs ever while watching anything. It was when they were moving and were saying goodbye to all places in their old house.
Then, they get in the car, start moving and stop a few feet ahead. They'd move to a that looked exactly the same right next to the old one.
When Cow and Chicken asked why they had moved, Dad and Mom said: "Because of the ants."
Then they asked "And couldn't we get rid of the ants?", to which the answer was a disdaining laugh: "Oh, children, you can't get rid of ants!"
Chicken then said: "I never knew about that."
And Dad rejoinded: "There are many things you don't know, kids, that's why you go to school."
The line was so random it had me rolling on the floor laughing for several straight minutes.
(The other memorable laugh I had when watching a cartoon was when Pinky, from Pinky and the Brain, was dared to come up with a plan to conquer the world. Then he opens up an Oyster Museum. Somehow, he manages to become very popular with that, and ends up becoming mayor for one day. His first ruling as mayor was to change the city's name to Shiny Pants, and everybody in town would have to wear very shiny pants.
The shiny pants everyone was wearing obfuscate Bill Gate's private jet pilot that was going over the town and the plane crashes. Bill Gates, far from being mad because of the crash, is very moved by a city where everyone wears Shiny Pants, and invites Pinky to be part of MicroSponge. In the end Pinky almost, almost conquers the world. And Shiny Pants was really, really funny.)
