Out of curiosity if anyone knows, how many countries have successfully transitioned into a democratic government? At least in this sort of manner?

Most of Europe?

It's also the most stable form of goverment since it's the only system that has feedback on itself. If people want to wear funny hats in a Dictatorship they have no choice but to revolt, in a Democracy you can change that without changing the system.

...Unless enough other people in the country don't want them to wear silly hats.

On a serious note, Thank God we have Kingmohd84 here to give us an opinion from someone who is actually living through this. Whether you think he is right or you think he is being brainwashed by his government is up to you. But I personally relish having an insiders opinion whatever it may be.

I'm just glad he and his family are ok, regardless of what any of you all think about the government and media services in his country.

I would like to say the situation is still non violent and people are moving on with their lives except for the protesters
