I am the original owner of my Sega Saturn, Genesis Model 2, and all my gameboys
I am buying all Saturn games, PM me with your offerings and I will let you know if I need the game or not! (Everything must be CIB)
Currently trying to knock off all the sports games, would like to get them <$5 each! Of course if you would like to donate them I will gladly pay the shipping!

I'm the original owner of my SNES, and um... my Dreamcast. A lot of my other consoles have died over the years. I want to buy a sealed NES Control Deck to know what it's like to open one.

Best 5th birthday ever. I'll never forget my dad dying on the first goomba. He never touched a video game again.soul_hacker wrote:I'm the original owner of my SNES, and um... my Dreamcast. I skipped this thread thinking "No way, everything was destroyed in Katrina"...
However, if you consider my Dreamcast "retro", then I'm the original owner of that. I still may have my original NES, but I believe that was given to me by my uncle. My Genesis, SNES and N64 were all destroyed. Those were the only other ones I bought brand new.

I am for my PS1 and PS2. I had an origional SNES and enjoyed it very much until my Dad decided to give it away thinking I never played it when I was indeed in the middle of Super Mario RPG. Moving your game system from the living room to your bedroom doesn't really mean you're not playing it lol. I've had to start that game 4 times before I beat it.
Even the horses are cut in half......
Re: Are you the original owner of your retro systems?
Let's see. If you count parents buying you a console for birthdays or Christmas, then I'm the original owner of my SNES, which I got a year or two after it launched. Same goes for my PS1 Slim, PS2 Slim, Gamecube, Gameboy Pocket, GBA, and Nintendo DS... Wow, that makes me seem so spoiled, but I promise this was all over the course of many years haha.
I've owned a few NES's, all of which came used from friends, up until my current one that I found in-box (not sealed) with two controllers, Kirby's Adventure, Home Alone, original instructions, and promotional poster. Easily the best $20 I've ever spent. My first Xbox 360 I picked up from an old co-worker of mine, which I used till it got the Red Ring of Death, then proceeded to snag my second/current one used at Gamestop. And my most recent acquisitions, a used N64 and Genesis, I purchased recently from college friends.

As long as you beat it eventually. I adore that game, and have beaten it at least three times in recent memory.I was indeed in the middle of Super Mario RPG.
