He wasn't called. He had been on the bench for quite some time under Dunga and he finally ditched him for the World Cup. My guess is that his drinking problems had something to do with it; same as with Adriano.

Uruguay and South Africa was actually a good game, guys. Really. Not because of the scoring, but because both teams attempted to create something. Wow, maybe this Cup can be saved.

I'm not going to say we were lucky since one of their players got a red card (kicked out of the game and no one can replace him so the game was 11 of us against 10 of them) because what he did was really stupid. Trying to kick an opponent out of play is a definite red card. A professional athlete shouldn't make such a stupid mistake.


Well after the red card it was like our performance enhancing drugs finally kicked in and we ran like crazy, having a lot more chances for a goal than the final 2-1 will have you know.


So since Argentina has already qualified, you guys think there's a chance they'll just let us win?

They are in really bad shape after the game with Uruguay. Besides math wise they would have defeat France, and Mexico would have to lose to France and Uruguay for South Africa to make it which I doubt very much.
