Was Best of Microsoft Entertainment Pack released for thr regular Gameboy? I am only aware of the GBC release.

Mario is the least inspiring Nintendo character because he is already without fear. Link has to find courage, Mac has to struggle against mightier opponents, Samus has to overcome her PTSD, etc.

That's my only complaint too. I'm glad I can get it on PS3, but I'd prefer Vita.
