Found quite a few interesting items at the local Play n' trade while I was getting some discs buffed.

The Castlevania Adventure (Gameboy)
Super Off-Road (Gameboy)
Contra: The Alien Wars (Gameboy)
TMNT: Back from The Sewers (Gameboy)
Fantasy Zone (Game Gear)
Spider-Man (Game Gear)
Eternal Eyes (PS1, complete)

There was a bit of confusion on which games I was buying and an expensive game got added. He handed me back the cash for it and I think I some how paid like $10 for all that. I think he gave me the gameboy games as almost no one knows they even have a book full of those old games. So they just sit. Always pays to be cool with the game store folks!

That's cool, what exactly did you tell them? I want to try and get one, did they also beat the price? or just match it?

Hah, I love those reversible sleeves! Two box arts in one. Although, my obsessive self won't allow me to actually keep the game on the shelf that way. I'd only do it once for novelty's sake.

@ shateredsoul - I simply asked if they could price match what they had listed on their website. The guy had no problem with that. All he did was plug ICO/SotC into his system to verify the online price, and that was it. Best Buy only price matches their own online price, but not their competitors' online prices; however they price match competitors' in-store prices.

and it's alot better than this piece of shit!

Nice find! You should be able to use a genesis controller with it (I believe anyways, you might want to double check), and it just uses standard A/V cables. You can burn games for it as well, so you should be set!
My Want List!

Consoles: Sega Master System, NES Toploader, Genesis/32X, Sega CDX, SNES, 3DO FZ-1, Sega Saturn, Nintendo 64, Sega Dreamcast, Sony PS2, Nintendo Gamecube, Xbox Halo Edition, Wii, PS3
Handhelds: Atari Lynx, Sega Nomad, Neo Geo Pocket Color, GBC (Atomic Purple, Pokemon Edition), GBA (Pink OG, Silver SP, Spongebob SP+), DS (Phat, iXL), 3DS, PSP (1000, Go)

Some one at a best buy store told me a while back that they wouldn't match their own web site price and I would need to order off their site to get that price. Clearly I chatted with some one who doesn't know what hes doing. :x

Funny thing is, this isn't my first time hearing about this. Just to be prepared, I had their Price Match Guarantee opened up on my phone where it's written in plain English: "Best Buy will match the price if you find a lower price on an identical available product at a local retail competitor's store, a local Best Buy Retail Store or BestBuy.com ..." So if sales associate tells you otherwise, call bull.

Thanks good to know. I ended up winning in the end on the item I was looking to buy. They forgot to remove a sign for a sale that ended the previous day. Matched the price.
