Yup, like I said in my previous post. The Bleem! disc acts as a boot disc...

There are however downloads that have the boot sector implemented. Much like what happened with the DC roms. Self boot discs...

I think that "Dreamcast" Harmful Park disc has the Bleem patch right on the same CDR.

That looks like a Bleem combined PS1 game CDR with a printed out cover. There are tons of PSX games with the Bleem patch included on the same CDR. The games will work on a Dreamcast or a modded PS1.

Highly likely...

Too bad it's not an official DC Harmful Park. I got all excited for a moment there... lol

Today at a local FYE, I found Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for Gamecube for $4.
I also got an FM-radio attachment called a "Boom Box Boy" for Game Boy Pocket/Color for $0.11.

IMO both are pretty cool finds for awesome prices!

The gold cart shells were black plastic instead of gray like normal ones. More likely that is where the gold has been scraped off.

Nope, the black paint extends a little bit onto the label. Plus, it looks very deliberate, as it doesn't encompass the whole cartridge. A square on the back, then the whole front, including the upper ridges on the left side of the label, but excluding the dips in between the ridges. With no variations anywhere. Plus, the NES controllers have the exact same paint on them. I just wish the previous owner had had better taste, paint, and talent.

wtf  LoZ:TP new or used?? We have the only FYE Game store in the country about 20 minutes from my house... they take anything for trades (ANYTHING)... can't say I looked at the GCN stuff last time i was there tho...

...other than that LoZ:TP used for GCN at Gamestop is still like 30 bucks, the Wii version is down to 20 tho... which is not what I want

Used, but in great, complete condition. It was priced at $35 but all games for older consoles were 90% off. I don't know what it was doing there since I've gone through their games many times before and don't remember seeing it.

It's a pretty large store and they always have a large selection of older games/DVDs that they apparently never send back to the distributor. Heck, a few weeks ago I found a new Dreamcast game (NFL Quarterback Club 2000... which I don't care about playing TBH) for $0.22.

Nicely done. My FYE stopped carrying games ages ago. *sigh*

I really don't understand why they region lock the consoles anymore. Because they want to control release dates in countries? That's just BS. Like they don't know we're gonna hack the consoles anyway. At this point, the only reason to region lock the consoles is to give a big "fuck you" when they decide not to release a game in a particular region.

Two reasons that really come back to one point:
1. Different release dates.
2. Fluctuation in value of currency.

So the whole reason is to make more money. To give you a prime example:
I live in Australia and a new game comes out. I could pay $90-100 AUD for it (roughly $98 USD), or I could have someone in the states buy it for $50 and ship it to me for $20ish. Now gamecompany of Australia just lost a $100 AUD sale, because I bought it from gamecompany of USA and had it shipped for $70ish.
