Re: Games Acquired 2017
Pre-ordered this last night:
There are SO many Vita/3DS games releasing in September/October. I wish publishers hadn't crammed their handheld release schedules so compact into just these two months. The fall is a lucrative time to unload games apparently.

I can't believe how much Vita stuff is actually being localized. I'm pretty damn picky about modern JRPGs, but even my wishlist is getting insane.

Yeah 2017 has been a busy year for the "dead" platform.BoneSnapDeez wrote:I can't believe how much Vita stuff is actually being localized. I'm pretty damn picky about modern JRPGs, but even my wishlist is getting insane.
We've still got Danganronpa 3, Summon Night 6, Axiom Verge, Chaos;Child, Yomawari: Midnight Shadows, Demon Gaze II, Tokyo Tattoo Girls, and Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night slated for upcoming release. (Also some otome visual novels I don't care about.)
Meanwhile in 3DS land, there have been quite a few releases this year as well (strangely not as many as Vita). But for impending retail release; Layton's Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires' Conspiracy, Culdcept Revolt, Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth, Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux, Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology, and Jake Hunter Detective Story: Ghost of the Dusk. Rumor has it the west will see Persona Q2 and Dragon Quest XI as well.
Maybe 2018 will be the final year of USA releases for 3DS and Vita, who knows?

Some recent acquisitions:
Re: Games Acquired 2017
Your perspective on Y's VIII will be interesting. It looks like the first one I might really enjoy.
Re: Games Acquired 2017
Found Fire Emblem Conquest in Dirt Cheap sealed for $20. I thought about passing on it, but I don't think it's going to be any cheaper, honestly. Especially if Awakening is any indication.

Recently I bought Hydlide for NES and Super Hydlide and Barkley Shut Up And Jam for Megadrive, and Final Fantasy III for SNES. May actually play it this time!
