Totally not going to happen, I'm sure. But I'd LOVE to see the original X-Factor in this movie, thought they had a much better team with much better stories:

It was only recently that I actually got them into long boxes. I had them stored in various ways before, and transferred them in a hurry when I moved. For the most part, they were made to fit and nothing more.

I'd like to get this pile organized, partly so I know what I have, and partly so I can get rid of about half of them.

Any suggestions on how to approach this task? Because holy shit.

Make sure you have plenty of time, that's my suggestion, lol.

The best way I've found is to try and separate them into seperate alphabetical stacks (an "A" pile, a "B" pile, etc.). Then organize each stack one at time as you put them into your comic boxes.

Suggestion: I've been collecting and sorting my comics since the mid 80's. I've sorted my books by genre, by label, alphabetically, by age, and other ways as well (because it is always fun for me to sort comics).

I recently sorted my long boxes, that were in alphabetical order, and placed the comics that were worth something into a "sell box". It's not a blanket rule (Spawn), but comics in the 90's won't be worth squat for a while. Out of eight long boxes I pulled one short box of comics that would be worth some change. Everything else I would be lucky to get cover price for.

My comics are haphazardly stored on shelves (newest books), a spinner rack (full runs), and in many copy paper boxes (sorted by character).
Few are bagged and boarded. Comics to me are to be enjoyed. If I'm not willing to read it while on the toilet and leave it on the bathroom counter until the next time... it's not worth owning to me.
Don't get me wrong I don't treat them like dirt, I just go through and read, scan panels, and show to my kids (2, 4 and 5) they need to be easily accessible.

I think this is why I have no problem jumping on the digital comic bandwagon. I prefer paper, but digital can hold up to my kid reading the same issue 30 times a day better than paper.
