Cubivore and Harvest Moon 64. Don't have much in the way of rare games.
(BTW, still missing the manual on HM64. Really wish I could find one locally, shipping is a bit high for something so little. Would probably get mangled anyways.)

Think about what you are adding to the forum when posting (not you in particular, but "you" as a racketboy member). If someone posts that they own Super Mario Bros - NES, what does that add to the forum or discussion?
Look at crabmaster2000's post. That is RARE. That was a fun read, great story, and great pics.
In the analogy you just gave, you said if you only own one game, then that is the rarest game you own. Touche'. You listed about 10 games. Of which a few are moderately rare, but most are not. Marvel v Capcom 2 is one of the best selling fighting games of all time. A black label game only is listed as black label in regard to it now have a green label...which means what? The black label game sold "hundreds of thousands / millions of copies.
People often think they must make a post. You don't. Make a post that counts, particularly in a thread like this, where people enjoy seeing new things. As has been said many times, if you want to list things you own, that is great, however list them in the appropriate area - ie, your dedicated game room thread.
I guess I agree with you there. In demand =/= rare and I knew when I was posting I probably shouldn't have included some of them. I'll kindly let the thread get back on track now.
I could tell the story of how I happened upon Super Turrican 2 but I didn't want to initially since I told it when I found it not too long ago in the "Look what I found" thread.
Someone I knew got a house from a local sheriff sale for $2500 due to the people not paying their property tax. It turned out they were hoarders and the place was
full of abandoned junk. Among that junk was loads of video game consoles and games. I asked if I could come down and take a look, maybe buy some of it off of them, and they agreed.
Anyway it was pretty overwhelming and I left with a working SNES, a ton of games (some other costly games), and Super Turrican 2. They agreed to $20 for everything and for me to help them clean up some of the other games and consoles to get them working and on eBay (a lot of the stuff is a real mess and I doubt the disc based consoles are still alive and those games were out of their cases and just completely destroyed).
It's absolutely amazing the stuff the people left behind. The house was pretty unlivable though and I guess it's not uncommon for hoarders to just abandon everything. You see this kind of thing on TV but it doesn't really seem real until you experience how insane it is first hand.

I have CIB copies of Recca and Judgement Silversword:

I also have Recca's soundtrack CD and the superplay VHS and the same thing re-released on DVD.
Recca was the first Famicom game I ever bought, I thought I'd start with a bang.

Very cool! I've got a reproduction of Recca and man that game is crazy.

Probably the rarest in my collection is the copy of the Star Fox Weekend Competition cart I got when Nintendo was selling them off years ago. It's still a pain to try and put up a good score in the time allowed.

The rarest game I own would have to be Wetrix for the N64. I know it's not the most valuable game out there, but from what I've heard, it's a pretty hard to obtain game.

Just a question: Is there any rough idea of how many copies there are of the Christmas NiGHTS floating around?
