I just finished up playing Tenchu: Stealth Assassins on PS1 over the weekend. This was actually the first stealth game I ever sat down and played through. The controls took me some time to get used to and there was a difficulty spike in the fourth mission, which I think ended up being one of the toughest in the game, but overall I ended up really liking it. The last boss also kicked my ass during my first attempt, but I managed to prevail on my second try. I'd definitely like to check out Tenchu 2 on PS1 and Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven on the PS2.

After beating Tenchu, I started up Suikoden, the original PS1 release. I'm hooked on this one! The serious tone and the fast pace of the plot are great, and I also like how quick the combat moves along. The limited inventory for party members is a bit tough to deal with, but I just unlocked the storage ability, so that'll help. I just reached the encounter with the elf, Kirkis.

...I'm still trying to wrap up the last case in Phoenix Wright Justice for All. I was hoping to wrap it up over last weekend, but I got busy w/some other stuff. I've also been checking out Balatro and Avowed, both are pretty cool. I've especially wanted to check out Balatro since the buzz around the game was about how fun it was for something sort of simple. I'm not hooked on it yet, but it's interesting and not something I'd normally check out but I'm going to give it some more time.

Grand Theft Auto IV on PC.
I bought the game for Xbox 360 and the disc turned out to be scratched.

Even after several mods and I about 13 'fixes', the game still stutters.

Still, I'm sticking with it, because I have never beaten a GTA game and this time I am determined. I've always found them to be shallow, stupid, if not offensive, and this one gives me headaches to boot, doh! Howlongtobeat says 27 hours. I'm three hours in. Emotional support is welcome!

The final boss in the Battlestar Galactica world in Funko Fusion is a barrage of cheap tactics. I've beaten it twice, but each time, I try to snag a few of the other collectibles but end up pissing away my last life. And each time, it resets all my progress against this boss and its cheap-ass desire to be an assholish troll.

And naturally, there hasn't been a single patch for the Switch version since I've bought it that's made it look less... devoid of resolution. I'd be less salty if at least they'd announce a release date for the DLC for the Switch version, so it only makes sense that there's STILL no word on its release.

Other than that, a bit of the Saints Row reboot (PS5) and the PS4 version of Undead Horde (I have only two trophies left).

Started a fresh playthrough of Viewfinder, hoping to bang out the last few trophies. My only legit gripe is how short it is and hope they put out a sequel. But if you like it, check out the PC game Liminal Gallery, though taking 10-15 minutes to beat makes it LEAGUES shorter than Viewfinder.

Pro Wrestling (NES). According to the manual, you have to defend the title for 10 matches in a row and then you get to face the final hidden boss. I'm getting fairly close to doing just that.

I've been playing Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete on the PS1 this past week. Took me some time to get used to the battle system and menus, and I still press a button on the controller when a battle starts sometimes accidentally hitting the "AI" menu option, but overall really enjoying it.

...Super Metroid and Balatro have my attention at the moment. Once Metroid is wrapped up I think I know what's up next, but I suspect Balatro will be in rotation for a while

I've been playing Schedule 1 recently, and while i like it, it feels like im playing GMOD dark rp with none of the funny moments of having a bunch of randoms populate the server. Very bare bones and the gameplay loop doesn't seem to change up all that much. Luckily I'm family sharing a steam account so I didn't pay for it or I'd be a little underwhelmed tbh. It's still fun, but I think I spent too much time in GMOD to enjoy it.
