RPG Progress Report
Re: RPG Progress Report
I've begun playing Secret of the Stars on the Super Nintendo, considered one of the worst RPGs on the console. It's...well, it's not good, though it does have some redeeming qualities. I have just gotten Baz the farmer to move to my town and am apparently about to visit the circus! Woo! Any ideas on how far I am into the game?

Not that far.
From what I recall the game goes on and on and on.......

Well, that's ok. I'll play for a while until I either get fed up or beat it, and I can jump to a few other SNES games if I really need a break. I think I'll abuse walkthroughs though. I don't mind with a game that's a slog, and I really want this notch on my belt.

FF7,
Every time I've thought about firing this back up, I just get this image in my head:

...and then I'm like, "nah."

I finally got around to beating that game around 2011 or so, and I was blown away by how good it was. I had played it a bit during middle school back in the 1990s, but I hadn't really appreciated it at the time. Now, though, it really impresses me.GazongaJoe wrote:Currently playing FF4 on SNES. Thankfully, it's a short section, and you'll be out of that crappy town and onto the RPG-proper.noiseredux wrote:FF7,

I remember as a kid I thought that bike scene was awesome. The controls are so shitty for it.
Re: RPG Progress Report
I keep meaning to start Atelier Meruru, but lately I just have not felt like gaming on the bus. Just been listening to music and relaxing. Maybe it's the weather. Getting colder. Mood is more of discontent.
But Diablo 3 progress has been pretty good. Hoping to hit lvl60 within the next few nights. And then off to the paragon levels. Still only on Nightmare (Master V) Act II. I could switch back to Medium or Hard monster power levels and breeze through and probably be halfway through Hell right now. But I kind of like the more consistent challenge.

Re: RPG Progress Report
I started the challenge skirmishes in Valkyria Chronicles. I defeated all the enemies in the scout challenge, but the mission still wouldn't end. Looked up the game's wikia and confirmed it was a glitch (I could summon enemies from the camp, which apparently isn't supposed to happen).
I already have the latest patches for this game, so what do I do?
