Yeah, I'm wanting All-Stars as well. Getting the PS3 and Vita versions for one price is awesome.

Holy crap DJMAX Technika Tune is awesome. Highly recommended if you like challenging rhythm games. It uses only the front AND rare touch screens. Pretty much the only game I've played that uses the rare touch screen pretty enjoyably.

Is this an import game? And I assume you mean rear not rare. :)

Yes. Rear. It's a Korean game but its available in the US. $50 shipped from the publisher's website or $45 on PSN.

DJMAX Portable 3 is also available on PSN. It's a PSP game. Very different. More like Pop n Music or Guitar Hero. I find it a lot more challenging than this new touch one. That one is $40 on PSN. Ridiculous. Should be $20 or less by now.

Did anyone else watch the new Killzone Mercenary trailer?

It left me a tad underwhelmed, tbh.

Yeah, I'll second that. Whether anyone can make a truly great FPS on Vita doesn't really matter to me. After playing a lot of games since the Vita's launch, I've enjoyed the ones that probably didn't require as much graphical horsepower (Persona 4 Golden, Jetpack Joyride, Sound Shapes). I know the console FPS is the cash cow the industry wants, but I just don't think it's going to happen the same way on handhelds.

So just this week we got announcements, news, trailers, or dates for US releases of:

Killzone Mercenary
Soul Sacrifice
Ys Foliage Ocean
Muramusa Rebirth
Tearaway
Phantsay Star Online 2
Valhalla Knights 3
Guilty Gear Vita
Urban Trail Freestyle

Even if the Vita dries up after this (which I doubt), between everything I've picked up in its first year and the list of stuff coming up, I feel like it has a secure/permanent spot in my game collection as there should be a strong cumulative library for the system by year's end. So far I see it comparing very favorably to the early life of the PSP, which also struggled in its first few years iirc. I'd wager that these announcements of more niche titles and localizations - things the PSP is respected for - bodes well for the system warranting a closer look from more folks around here, too...
