I'm pretty sure he was suspended for that substitute marijuana which isn't even illegal in the US.
Re: The Wrestling Thread
I agree that was an awful way to end Raw. Cena... tricked them? Maybe they were so deluded by his god awful mic skills they forgot who they were. Miz and Truth are too good for Cena. Cena just explodes cockiness, when he comes out and gets boo'd I can't stand how he has to look at the camera "They love me!", yet it looks like he's really about to cry or something. What a joke... you can see it in his face, the dude is clearly jealous of others hogging the spotlight. Everytime the "You Can't Wrestle" chants pop up he has to bust out some goofy ass new move like he's out to prove something, what a douche.
I hate how my friend rightfully put it. As long as the spinner belt is still intact and we have Cena closing out nights, it's clear he's still WWE's face. I feel really bad for Punk. He's gonna be a workman champ for sure. Maybe he can keep it up with the hot potato comments and someone backstage will finally get it. And totally agreed about Del Rio being worthless just like Cena. Both these guys got pushed by the COMPANY rather than pushing themselves to the top like other real superstars. I agree that people like Ziggler (please ditch Vickie, lol), completely destroy Del Rio.
Nash sounded wasted. I was a big fan but his return has been pretty terrible, he's completely sloppy and washed up. Please quit, lol. At least it got Triple H out of the picture for awhile, who was unnecessarily taking up all of the spotlight.
I get more annoyed by the commentating issues as well by the weak. Cole and King have got to be the worst duo ever. King was great 10 years ago but he completely sucks thesedays. It's sad that I enjoy it when Booker is around, who is technically utterly terrible at commentating, but at least he brings in some energy to it. Cole and King bore me to tears...

Re: The Wrestling Thread
^ I hate Michael Cole (and it's X-pac heat, not heel heat) but, for whatever reason, he was fairly normal during the PPV. I even made a comment about it to our group watching. I guess because he wasnt involved in an angle, he didn't feel like interjecting himself on ever OTHER f'n angle.
Re: The Wrestling Thread
But dude, the Fink moment was AWFUL! Especially when my friend described his PPV experience (who's in NYC so he got to go to it), then when I saw that part... and Cole and King were just laughing the entire time it was completely ruined.
He's been doing that for 36 years in MSG from what I hear. 36 years ago Cole was right out of diapers.

^ Ah yes, I blocked that part out. They were both all over Finkel but most seemed like normal wrestling ribbing (esp Jerry).

I'm pretty sure he isn't allowed to take bumps because he's still involved with what he's working with in Hollywood. If this wasn't the case then he probably would've gotten beat up a bit more for a bit longer. I guess Cena was taking bumps for the majority of the match for this reason. I could be wrong. I still think the match could've been booked better.retrosportsgamer wrote:If you thought Super Cena was bad, Super ROCK is 10x worse. I don't think he took more than one bump.

They also have to protect him for Mania. This was all about showing that the Rock can still go in the ringarnold_the_bartender wrote:Or as I like to say, "The truth... shall set you high!sevin0seven wrote:..and the truth will set you free for 30 days.

Re: The Wrestling Thread
How much cooler would the Henry/Show match at Survivor Series have been if Big Show imploded the ring again after doing the elbow off the top rope? Then Teddy Long could have came out and made the match a Falls Count Anywhere match, which could have led to the two big men fighting into the crowd or going up the ramp for some kind of crazy spot off the ramp. The bookers missed a cool opportunity there. Oh well
