There's once a time where in order to get killed by cheap deaths and having spamming crazy overpowered bosses in kingdom hearts you had to play the Ares Cup or such things... that is gone in KH 3D i lost count on how many freaking cheap deaths i got from shots/hits that come from offscreen and the OP attacks of some enemies that leave your HP from 100 to 0 in 3-4 hits that leaves unable to dodge once you get a hit of their combo... if you get hit pray for some miracle that your characters can survive that and the after you throw Cure on you another bastard can come again and do the same thing on you BECAUSE CHALLENGE. I believe they did ALL THAT STUPID NONSENSE because the flow combat is also OP.

Maybe all this is madness since i decided to play it on hard because square enix is nuts if they think i would go and complete the game at 100% just to get a nice cutscene at the end of the credits.

I had so many things to rant about this game even when i liked about half of it... maybe less than half.

I think I might be over metroidvanias. I feel like the backtracking is just wasting my time.

The fact that so many Westerners jumped through hoops to play on the Japanese server shows them there's an audience for the game, but I've given up hope at this point.
That's such a dirty rotten tease isn't it?

It seems we're all united in our great disappointment.

Damn it Sega. :(

RGT's RE: RPG's...

1. Are there any computer RPG's that are an actual representation of pen and paper RPG's? Meaning, is there a computer game where instead of a sprite walking through a town, you see a paper map, and you roll dice to see how many spaces on the paper map you can move your pewter figure? I guess what I'm thinking is how we were talking about Table Top Simulator and how it is an actual representation of card games... is there RPG's like that?

2. I don't know much about pen-n-paper games. I mean I did play some D&D/etc when I was in like 5th-7th grade era, but that's about it. I don't know much about C-RPG's nor Western RPG's. Have a lot of the classic TSR/etc pen and paper campaigns been "ported" to PC by some means? Does anybody remember the Marvel pen & paper RPG game? I remember playing that one a lot as a kid. Is there some way that that game has been "ported" to PC?

3. IS THERE something like Table Top Sim for RPG's? Meaning some kind of toolbox that you can use to easily make your own p&p RPG on PC? I assume that if there is it's full of fan-made mods that reproduce the classics.

I like the metroidvanias, but have always preferred my Castlevanias as such:

Start level, progress whilst beating enemies, boss fight, next level. With the occasional mid-boss thrown in.

:raiseshand:

I had a bunch of campaigns for that also. Long lost at my parent's house. Possibly thrown out. I really liked that whole comics/d&d concept.
