So I had to check, out of curiosity, and based by the chart on that link above you can install games on the flash drive but not Originals. The latest game that I own with the Hard Drive Required logo is Dragon Age Inquisition and disc 1 is the install disc (its not even labeled as one). The Xbox menu came up and gave me an option to choose the hard drive installed or the internal flash drive even though it was about 3.7 GB (I don't use it).
I got the core way back when the Xbox 360 S came out because it was matte black and the other one with the drive was glossy. I don't like glossy. With the core I bought the 250 GB drive separately.

Sega is the only company that could name consoles properly.CFFJR wrote:Agreed.Ziggy587 wrote:Genesis sounds better anyway, IMO.
I like Mega Drive fine, but in an era of Mega, Super, and Turbo, Genesis was both unique and awesome.
Its definitely the superior name.
Nintendo was okay until they started pulling the Wii / Wii U and DS / 3DS / 2DS nonsense.
Sony just numbers shit. Boring.
Don't even get me started on Microsoft.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
Thanks for the info, Team! I ended up finding a 250GB HD on Craigslist for not much money; so, I have a ton of storage on my Xbox 360. Now, I just need to figure out what to put on it...Super Meat Boy, maybe? Are there any other really good Xbox 360-exclusive digital titles?isiolia wrote:You also need a HDD for backwards compatibility, if that'd be relevant (considering it's less than perfect, and only covers a subset of Xbox titles). Can't use a hacked drive for that either AFAIK.TSTR wrote: Some games require an actual hard drive; these will be noted with an icon saying "Hard Drive Required" as opposed to "Storage Required" on the cover, usually.

I like Mega Drive solely because it sounds like it could be a finishing move that some giant mecha pilot would scream out in an anime.CFFJR wrote:Agreed.Ziggy587 wrote:Genesis sounds better anyway, IMO.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
Console naming perfection was achieved with the Atari Jaguar. It could only go down hill from that point.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I am just going to go out on a limb and say it. Every video game console has a stupid name. The Nintendo Entertainment System is lifeless. The Genesis is far too dramatic. The Dreamcast makes no freaking sense. The PlayStation is silly, the Playstation 2 is redundant. The playstation 3. Is redundant. The Playstation 4 is redundant. I am too reduntant. The Xbox is too Xtreme Bro. The Wii is a bodily function. The WiiU is an emergency vehicle. The 32X is an extremely graphic pornography. Yeah there is no good console name.
