I was going to let them figure out the Dragon and Guns parts on their own.
Wizards and Warriors never clicked for me. At one point I played it alot on the Gameboy but the NES version just never worked. Ill give it another shot this weekend.

Admittedly, it is no masterpiece (and my wife thinks it has the most annoying sound track on the NES). I liked exploring the levels for keys, treasure chests, and items - it is almost a Metroid game - and the continue system makes the game very easy. (You do have to beat it in a single sitting, however, since there is no password or save system.) I also liked the large unique bosses, the scantily-clad princesses, and each of the differently themed, well-rendered levels.

Re: How Is Your SNES Gaming Going?
16 is the only one that tripped me up on the NES one as well.
Played a lot of Wizards & Warriors when I was a kid so that one didn't get me.
It's one of those games I don't even like, but it's what I had at the time so it's what I played.

Re: How Is Your SNES Gaming Going?
Got all the NES ones ok, but SNES tripped me up on 10, 17, 23, and 27. I see now that except for 23, they're games I've never played.

Wizards & Warriors, Marble Madness, RC Pro Am, Snake Rattle & Roll, and Cobra Triangle were all developed by Rare, which is why they may all look and/or sound the same

I know...which is why I am wondering whether all of those games have the same engine. I suspect that they do, and it would be interesting to know which other Rare games run on that engine or a modified version of it.ExedExes wrote:Wizards & Warriors, Marble Madness, RC Pro Am, Snake Rattle & Roll, and Cobra Triangle were all developed by Rare, which is why they may all look and/or sound the same

Thanks a lot Ziggy, I just wasted over an hour on that page.Ziggy587 wrote:Check this out: http://sadowl.com/snes.html

EDIT: It didn't take me nearly as long to do the NES page. It was actually pretty easy.
Damn, I'm good.

My first SNES pickup in quite some time! (please excuse the GBA games under it)
Pinball Fantasies is one game in the Pinball Dreams/Fantasies/Illusions series originally for the Amiga developed by DICE (Digital Illusions CE) and I've played the PC port before.

Those games are great on the Amiga. Never tried on them on SNES.
