I was just reading somewhere that Yoshitsune is considered the original pretty boy (bishonen) in Japan. I thought that was kind of funny. The story is based on The Tale of the Heike, which I'm considering reading now if I can find an English translation.

Man, I haven't been playing anything but Demon's Souls since my last update. I need to start something else! Oh well, Demon's Souls is fun and I almost have the platinum.

So far this year I have beaten Mario Galxy 2 100%, super mario bros. 2 on mario all-stars, final fantasy II 20TH anniversary edition on psp, and resident evil 1 for the gamecube

OK, so my initial impression of BlazBlue wasn't that great. Actually it was a lot like my initial impression of the Guilty Gear series. I figured it was just this really amazing LOOKING fighter that didn't play well to me. And really, in fairness, my complaint was more along the lines of "it doesn't feel like Capcom." And it doesn't. But once I got past that, I realized it's actually a pretty damn good game. I mean considering it's a whole new series -- its personality is impressive. In a sense, I'm pretty sure I like these characters MORE than the Guilty Gear ones. There's something very macabre yet cutesy about the whole game. I like that. So anyway, I had promised myself I'd run through Arcade Mode before deciding what I thought. And I'm glad I did. Once you start to get the hang of a character, shit gets better. Sure I still did SOME button mashing, but things were making way more sense. I was starting to get some combo's gong, etc. I'm kind of glad I grew to like it, too. Because really I just love the look of everything. I almost felt bad not liking it. Haha. Oh, and if you didn't know you can turn down the voice track in the Options menu. That helps a lot. I hated hearing "COUNTER!" over and over again. Though I did think "REBEL ONE!" was funny. So yeah. I'll end up keeping this one.

I'm playing MMX4 and Chrono Trigger currently. In MMX4 I flew through all the robot masters really fast, but I got stuck on the fight with Double. So I took a break since it was kind of break-neck how quickly I made it up to that point.
