We've had them a couple of times, considering we push our washing machines and dryers until the point they burst into fire. Personally, I've always been a fan of having the wash room being away from the house or in a room that is partially separate for the rest of the house, old school style.

The post office in my town closed early today at noon. Conner's closed at 2. And Red Drum's still open (it's like a convenience store, with extensive hours (6:30 til midnight) and high prices on a huge bulk of their goods).

$4800 is the estimate on fixing my car so far. Thankfully I'm only going to be out $500 and however long it takes to fix it. I'm lucky they didn't total it.
