But yeah even then it isn't the greatest.
Is there a separate thing to turn the Street Pass off, or does that turn off when I turn off the wifi? The backlight I need at max (5) when I am outside on a fairly sunny day, but when I am inside I keep it between 1 and 3.

I'm going to test it out for a few more days with wifi off but it at least seems doable this way.

With wifi on it seems it would need to be charged every day even if I only play for a little over an hour each day. Otherwise it would die on the 2nd day.

Looks like Amazon price matched Best Buy on all pre-orders on Kid Icarus. I just got a$10 back because the lowest price was $29.99 before release.

Are you Canadian?
Interested in a 3DS?
Have around a hundred bucks in your pocket?

Today is your lucky day!

Check Walmart.ca to buy a new 3DS (your choice of color) for $120 and then use the mail-in coupon (only valid in Canada) for a $20 rebate from Nintendo.com. Bam: cheap 3DS lovin'!

Seriously, I can't believe how aggressive these deals are on the console. I've seen it priced at $130 a couple of times, and now retailers are pushing even lower. Even if you aren't a fan of Nintendo, for $100 there are enough good games announced/released to make this deal worthwhile for virtually any gamer.

I wish I was on a trip to Canada right now. Holy crap that's a great deal!

Seriously, I hated on the 3DS for so long, mainly for the battery life, but it's a great portable. The battery life still blows, but I think it'll be sufficient enough for most people. And the good games are finally coming.

I also did not think the DS games scaled for the 3DS looked bad at all. Not GREAT, but I had the impression that it'd be an extremely blurry mess from what people said. Seemed fine for the game I tried. Perhaps it varies from game to game.

Seriously Zen, you should pick up that Nyko battery pack. Before picking it up, I used the Power A Executive Case to carry my 3DS around. After installing the battery pack, my 3DS still fit in the case! The 3DS feels great with it on, plays much longer and is still quiet portable. You won't regret it 8) It carried me through 10 hrs (out of 13) of flight on a single charge - no 3D, wireless turned off and brightness set to 2 (power save on).

You guys really don't understand how much I dislike added bulk. I'm serious here. Not playing around. I HATE ADDED BULK. I will not use a case with my iPhone or anything. I like my devices all natural.

On another note, got the matte screen protectors in for my 3DS. So much better outside now. :)

Seriously dude there is barely any bulk added, just getting the add on would totally solve your battery issue and you can play your 3DS as you wish. Full power for 3D plus wifi/street pass with no worries.

No.

That is A LOT of bulk. You just don't get it. An extra 30% or so. That's A LOT.

Haha, yea. Lets just pick a different topic now.

Anyone else liking the matte screen protectors? It was $5 for 3 sets on Amazon. Definitely recommended. Cleaning the top screen to apply the one on top top a while though!

I've got 3 characters left to unlock in DoA Dimensions, but now these tag battles are getting really cheap. Opponents can kill my life bar in 2 or 3 hits but it takes about 200 to beat them, haha.
