Apparently, HBO On Demand has been putting up HD upconverted episodes of the Wire. Are we looking at potential blu ray sets some day?
Wow, that would be cool. I remember watching The Wire after The Sopranos and it was a shock to watch it in non-HD.
However, I don't know if I could spare the time to watch it all over again since there are many series that are in my queue:
Oz
Downtown Abby
Twin Peaks
Game of Throne
Buffy
6ft Under
Just want to say that I'm kind of pissed that Last Resort got cancelled. The TV world dissapoints me again.
Last night's Nikita was fan-freaking-tastic. Best spy show on television, and best I've seen
I had put on some Angel season 5 episodes on as background noise today as I did some work today, and I found myself getting glued to the screen instead of working. I'm sure I've seen this season at least three times already, and yet it still draws me in. It's held up well over time, as I'm sure all the other seasons do as well. Angel and Buffy are two very rewatchable shows. I think shows like The Wire and Breaking Bad are brilliant, but I don't see myself ever rewatching them again after knowing all of the surprises and how everything plays out in those shows, but I never get tired of rewatching good Buffy and Angel episodes.

Seriously. Screw you Shao Kahn I'm gonna play Animal Crossing.
I recently marathoned Fullmetal Alchemist, then started watching Soul Eater. Unfortunately, that was on my grandparents Netflix. Hopefully I can get the DVDs soon.
I've also been watching Kamen Rider Kuuga and Samurai Sentai Shinkenger. I can't believe how much plot Power Rangers Samurai stole. They could have at least kept the character development. Glad I stopped watching PRS.
Things got a little shaky with Supernatural in season 6, after five great seasons. This eighth season has been pretty great though, and I have to credit that to the new show runner Jeremy Carver. He seems to really get what works on this show. He says he's got two more seasons in him. If he can maintain this quality I'm all for it. Still the best supernaturally themed show I've seen since the Buffy/Angel days... though I haven't kept up with Grimm for a long time. Wonder how that show's doing.
Once Upon a Time's fall finale was excellent. I LOVE that show. Nothing else on TV quite like it right now and I'm developing one heck of a crush on Lana Parrilla. Plus, their version of Captain Hook is one of the most entertaining characters I've seen on TV, probably the coolest version of the character ever done. I think I'm actually enjoying this show more now than I am the Fables comic book series, which just hasn't entertained me of late like it used to.
I dug seeing Helena Bertinelli in full on Huntress outfit on Arrow tonight, with the trademark crossbow. Still not loving the actress they chose for the role though. I want more Oliver/Laurel Lance scenes. Will she ever become Black Canary on this show? I mean they'd probably have to drop the sonic scream thing, but no reason she can't be the bad ass martial artist.

Trying to catch up on "Gossip Girl" in time for the series finale on Monday. I'm about a half dozen episodes away from polishing off season 4, and then there's the 20some episodes of season 5 and the first 9 episodes of season 6 (which is only 10 episodes).
Also bouncing a bit from GG to Law and Order: SVU.
Also watched the Portlandia special on IFC last night.
