I've been playing Lollipop Chainsaw. I walked away from it last night kind of hating it, but I put some more time into it today. I'm actually starting to like it now. The arcade level is pure, retro awesomeness and this game has the coolest soundtrack I've heard since Brutal Legend. Here's just a sample of what you'll hear in the game based on what I've played so far

Think I'm gonna give Banjo-Kazooie a fair shot. I played through the first level yesterday and it was pretty enjoyable. Still need to finish up DKC3 though. I hate leaving one game unfinished and starting on a new one. :?

The game's growing on me. If you see my last post in the Lollipop Chainsaw thread, you can see that I've kind of come around on this game. In fact, I just nabbed my first A rank in the game for stage 1 a few minutes ago before posting this and nabbed a high score achievement for the stage. It's a flawed game, but it is fun. And although I bitched about the bad jokes and dialog in that thread, it's improved quite a bit the farther I've gotten into the game. There's still some lame, eye rolling moments, but there have been some genuinely fun and funny moments and the game has some great characters that I've come to like. Juliette's older sister Cordelia is a badass.

The arcade stage is truly classic. If nothing else I'm glad I played the game for that stage. It's a love letter to retro gaming

Playing as Vega is extremely difficult in Street Fighter IV and is regarded as a low tier character. Makes me feel good that I was able to defeat an A level opponent :)

Got stuck in my "ohgodwhattoplay" state of mind, so I started a new game in Killer7. Playing as Kaede (the sniper chick) has pretty much remedied all my issues with the aiming, and I'm having a lot more fun so far than I was previously. I'm actually enjoying taking my time and solving the puzzles this time around, and the fact that I remember all the levels perfectly after 3+ years speaks miles towards the games' fantastic visual design. Hopefully I don't screw myself over by pouring all my upgrades into Kaede.

Loving Ys: The Oath in Felghana so far. The bosses are absolute murder, but that's all part of the fun.

Lots of Wii bowling lately. Too bad girls don't appreciate Blades of Steel as much as I do.
