No real way to find out without getting one though. If it ends up actually being a 1300 mAh battery (or less), that'd be some annoying BS.

I guarentee you will love it, the texture on it is amazing as well, plus its sexiest thing to add to your 3ds without adding much bulk like other products. Just let us know what you think of it then ZenZenErik wrote:Alright. At $10 I guess I can try one out. I'll stop by BB tonight or this weekend.
Nyko Power Pak Barely any bulk what so ever.

VS
Nyko Power Grip ( Too much bulk imo)

I might get that if it's available in the EU. If not I could just buy multiple batteries and swap them on long trips.
I just wish they'd release this color in the west:

Though the white one is nice too, I'd prefer something more colorful this time around

To me that's a lot of bulk, but for $10 it's not a big loss. I probably won't love it because I hate added bulk, and to me, that is A LOTAznKhmerBoi wrote:I guarentee you will love it, the texture on it is amazing as well, plus its sexiest thing to add to your 3ds without adding much bulk like other products. I ended up not getting it. At least for now. Turning wifi off seems to have helped a bit. Just got to see if the battery still drains very fast in sleep mode.
Picked up my copy of Kid Icarus for $30 from BB.
Still got 5 characters to unlock in DoA Dimensions. I've cleared all of story and arcade mode. Tag mode is quite difficult. That'll take a while. And in survival mode I've only gotten to about 50 out of 100 fights. Pretty sure I can clear that soon. I've been focusing on getting good with Kokoro. Because naturally I pick the cute characters.

Re: Nintendo 3DS
There is a power save mode under display settings too. It seems at least to me, to help a fair amount with battery life. Give it a shot!

Re: Nintendo 3DS
If you're so concerned with the 3DS' battery life while you have it with you during the day ... why not just turn it off when you're not using it? Guaranteed method to save battery life.
You're already turning WiFi and junk off, most all games let you save where ever and starting a game from scratch only takes about 10 seconds.
So, I'm actually really confused why you just wouldn't turn the 3DS off.

What is that confusing? I am often in the middle of a game. This is not a problem with the PSP, PS Vita, or regular DS. Why does it need to be an issue with the 3DS?Cronozilla wrote:If you're so concerned with the 3DS' battery life while you have it with you during the day ... why not just turn it off when you're not using it? Re: Nintendo 3DS
Keeping the WiFi/Street Pass off and not leaving it in standby if you don't need either does wonders for the battery life. The backlight is pretty bright too, doesn't need to be very high on the settings.
But yeah even then it isn't the greatest.
